You may have a point, he doesn't look ready for this league. To me it looked like he lost control tonight. No structure, no consistent lines. He sends weird signals and players get confused by his system.
I don't know what to think of him. The video I saw in "miked up" to me it may be he over coaches for this level.

I think it had more to do with just getting lost in the shuffle.

Other guys played better though Zucarello and Zibanejad kept on getting ice despite playing like rotten ass.

Because they are among our best forwards, and I didn't see them making any big mistakes.

If I don't eat for a week Staal would still give me diarrhea

This.

The Rangers have never bottomed out. And many Madison Avenue signings during the 80s and later in the Checketts era paradoxically made the Rangers so shitty that they were too shitty for the NHL, yet not shitty enough to benefit from the draft.

In other words, they were so shitty they were even shitty at being strategically shitty.

If he sits, he still gets paid. There would be no breach of contract.

The manner by which you suggested he sit could most definitely get Rangerstown is serious legal trouble with the board of governors for cap circumvention, and most certainly get Staal and the MSG Group in violation of AFL-CIO laws with the NHLPA if not personal grievance from Staal’s agents.

No way in hell that happens.

Quinn's constant yelling definitely wear on the players. He got a lot of nerve for a rookie coach, seems like the veterans have had just about enough of him already, like Hayes and perhaps even Zucc. He should be a little careful, if the players turn against him he's done.

Oh, the veterans that might not be here as soon as March? Those ones are going to get him fired?

Knowing our scouts even if we got the 1st overall this year we wouldn’t even take Hughes
Tony looked good should take McQ spot
Howden looked good still learning but he could very much take Hayes’ spot at the deadline Zucc has looked horrendous

Quinn is 3 games into his head coaching career with a rebuilding team and he's got a 5 year deal. At this point the players would leave before he would.

This is his team he won’t be going anywhere for a while
