If KK is a first line forward, or even a second line forward, he’d be on the PP. That’s where top six forwards play. No?
That’s a legit horrendous reason you just stated. You’re assuming the coach knows what he’s doing, right? Strome is better than Kakko three games in? If anybody thinks that, then turn the tv off.

Problem is wherever you move Strome he is gonna kill that line. If you put him with Kakko you might as well just play the top 2 lines. He can only play with Panarin and be somewhat useful.

I don’t totally understand the shortening of the bench so early in a game. The Chytil and Howden lines are playing well and creating pressure. The team has good offensive depth. Play your guys.

Am I the only one who thinks Miller doesn’t handle the puck well and isn’t being strong enough when he’s defending one on one. He has the size and strength to pin people when he can. I’m not talking about crunching people but leaning on them and finishing the play.

No, I think this is definitely true.

Despite that though, he is one of our steadier defensemen tonight. And he has the most room to improve of the bunch.

If we are going to use a meritocracy Laf goes down the lineup along with Strome Filip and K2 with bread

Yes, he looks great playing. So does Kakko, sitting on that bench not playing. Getting it?

You believe Kakko is playing great and not seeing more ice time?

I like Kakko and hope he becomes great. I am concerned that last season he had the worst metrics since metrics have been calculated.

But, for the fourth time, Hughes looks awesome. That's indisputable.

He’s hardly been a noticeable problem tonight, but has Chytil developed literally at all in the past 3 years?

Yes, significantly tbh, especially in his physical game.

He just isn't being moved up and given a chance to show it on a regular basis. His line was the best line on the ice in the first period

They got benched for it

I’d say Buch and Z looked better. CK showed great speed too. Miller was confident and entered the zone with ease. KK has been good for a third liner and acceptable as a second liner on a team with mediocre depth, but that’s it, at least from a talent / merit perspective.
Who is your dealer? Because your on some wild shit....go constantly bash kakko somewhere else

to say dach has been better is ridiculous, he’s had a whopping 23 points last year compared to 24 from kakko

If Rantanen, a clear cut first line forward, were having a rough start to the year, would you take him off the PP after a solid season the year before? Probably not.
