Was prob our best player in the first
I’d say Buch and Z looked better. CK showed great speed too. Miller was confident and entered the zone with ease. KK has been good for a third liner and acceptable as a second liner on a team with mediocre depth, but that’s it, at least from a talent / merit perspective.

But he’s been solid. Kakko has a good shift or two but has otherwise taken a lousy shot. I think we picked him based on momentum going into the draft and confused a hot streak with a major breakthrough in development. Again, I hope I’m wrong (very badly), but I wish, as of now, that we’d taken Dach instead.
Bullshit. Kakko has been ahead of Dach every single year since they're in diapers.

And Kakko has been very good tonight when he's actually in the ice. I don't know what you're looking at.

Hughes has one of his points on the powerplay. You won't see Kakko there.

No more perimeter shots, without a screen in front. Try two. Have to beat Blackwood like he's Talbot. Throw it at his feet. Gives rebounds. Jam those in tight.

No, just no. You’re wrong.

Well you repeated the same thing that 20 other people said so thank you as well.

I just felt it was important to point out your redundant observation.
Then I am truly lucky to have warranted being the target of your infinite insight and wisdom.

Am I the only one who thinks Miller doesn’t handle the puck well and isn’t being strong enough when he’s defending one on one. He has the size and strength to pin people when he can. I’m not talking about crunching people but leaning on them and finishing the play.

Strome has been shit but who are you bumping up and replacing him with? Knowing this coach it’ll be Howden getting second line minutes.
