Problem is Svechnikov was actually a positive at 5v5 while Kakko has been one of the worst in the NHL. And going back to 2007-2008 of all 2nd overall picks who have played in the NHL right away he's had the worst impact. Doesn't mean he won't be a star in the future but he's done worse than pretty much every other 2nd overall pick so far outside of raw point totals.

Your subjective opinion is discounted by the examples of elite prospects who’ve done exactly what Kakko has. Just stop. Kakko is elite and will be amazing for us.
