Both Kakko and Rantanen look off this season. Both have huge butts but skate like they have no connection to their feet. Don't know what they did with Rautala this summer but it clearly was not ideal. Next summer Kakko needs to work much harder on explosiveness, agility, quickness, footspeed, stamina and his shot... In his current condition Kakko would be two steps behind Liiga play.
LMAO

Honestly they should just scratch kakko the rest of the trip, have him watch the games, and get some needed rest. The late Nov/early December schedule has been brutal and doesn't help that he was sick.

Problem is Svechnikov was actually a positive at 5v5 while Kakko has been one of the worst in the NHL. And going back to 2007-2008 of all 2nd overall picks who have played in the NHL right away he's had the worst impact. Doesn't mean he won't be a star in the future but he's done worse than pretty much every other 2nd overall pick so far outside of raw point totals.

you mean outside of what counts (points) got it. Any of those guys spend 90% of the time next to Brett Howden? Make sure you build that into your metrics.

Where does @bobbop rank British Columbia pizza on his North American pizza scale?
British Columbia sucks. Depressing place with horrid weather, no entertainment, shit food, awful people; it's just so dark and dreary. Only been to NYC once but there was so much energy in that city, I felt like I had this ultra boost of confidence when I was there lol
Not the biggest fan of NY pizza however :boredom:

This is the epistemological modesty thing I've been harping about. Whenever you see anyone make a claim with complete certainty that player X is one of the (Best) (Worst) at something, it's always just pulled from shot metrics. No one else makes claims off of data with such certainty except Economists.
