This kind of reactions is only acceptable if the Pens are in the mix.No clue why people are getting all bent out of shape with regards to how others feel about Larkin's situation.
Who gives a shit.

That’s why we’re all hereI just like to argue, Nubs.
Now it’s Brady’s turn lol…
I just like to argue, Nubs.
No you don't
But yeah, f*** the Red Wings
Whadda ya mean? I argue more than you or anyon...
Waiiiiiiiiiiit a minute. You sly dog!
I think Andy just posts anything he sees as a bit now. You're a great case study for why old people fall for stupid shit on social media.
Come on, man. You're smarter than to believe a random social media account with no credentials and who doesn't provide a source to anything.
People take it so seriously too lol…I think Andy just posts anything he sees as a bit now.
I think people have been plenty on his case. When Larkin initially asked out, he was getting dumped on. As someone else said, I think people are just annoyed that yet again another ‘star’ player is wanting to go to the same two southern markets (as well as Minnesota). Like I truly believe if the teams Larkin reported he’d accept a trade to were Minnesota, Montreal or Colorado, there wouldn’t be this amount of uproar.Im a little surprised the fans and media seem to be on Larkin's case more than Yzerman's. The Yzerplan has yielded nothing, and the players have asked for more aggressive moves to address scoring depth, which then then only received Faulk and Gibson. get rid of Yzerman and start using some of those young prospects and picks to improve the team.
Yeah that makes sense... We should be dumping all over that team anyways. O6 garbageI think people have been plenty on his case. When Larkin initially asked out, he was getting dumped on. People keep bringing up Minnesota and their supposedly bad cap situation. Am I missing something? I see $12.75M of space with only 5 spots to fill (which includes 2 low-cost RFAs). They could dump Foligno and/or Middleton (each make ~$4M) to get cap space if need be. Otherwise, they don't seem too bad off.Larkin has 5 years at 8.7MM left. Florida doesn't need a #2 center. Minnesota and Vegas are so far in the hole just trying to get cap compliant next season that there is no way for them to even fit Larkin.
This is not going to go well for him.
I think they are shopping for all of the above and you can never have too many draft assets. And the Pens are a loooooong way away from having too many prospects. They basically have maybe 5 legit prospects right now that will no longer be prospects by the time the future draft picks are in the system. Most draft picks never make it, so worrying about "flooding the system with so many prospects" seems a little misguided.I don't think the Pens are actively shopping for dumps for picks.
They are currently looking for younger {mid to late 20's) guys looking for a fresh start types.
The Pens don't need more draft assets. They have 19 1st's, 2nd's and 3rd's
Unless they are getting a 1st, there's no need to collect more 2nd's and 3rd's.
They can only flood the system with so many prospects.
They could just "dump" them, but, you know,People keep bringing up Minnesota and their supposedly bad cap situation. Am I missing something? Where do you see this?Cossa to the Oilers seems to be done, which is interesting because it seems like it will be around Edmonton's 2026 2nd rounder. Almost definitely doesn't matter for the Penguins, but it does take away an asset the Oilers could offer the Penguins to take Nurse.

I'd argue Blomqvist has better numbers tbh.Big swing from the Oilers, his numbers are good but very comparable to Joel Blomqvist (who has 15 NHL games compared to Cossa's 1). He's an RFA, if they lock him in for two years at close to the league minimum and he can be an average starter then they'll free up money to sign Colton Dach to an 8 year deal.
They each have a 15 team no trade list which means each has 17 teams that they aren't protected from being traded to.
When you have 8 forwards signed for next season and have 14MM in cap space, that is a hole. They each have a 15 team no trade list which means each has 17 teams that they aren't protected from being traded to.
But back to your original point, how exactly is Minnesota "so far in the hole just trying to get cap compliant next season that there is no way for them to even fit Larkin."? Let's not get sidetracked here.
And even more is seeing how terrible of a GM Yzerman really is and was nothing but lucky in Tampa. He should have already been fired but hey, no complaining here, they can keep him around for much longerI think something we can all agree on here is we like seeing the Red Wings suck and don't feel bad for their fans at all for their bad management.
Get bent losers.
