Probably he has two years to prove scoring strength.
He has chosen to not do so the last 3 years..he just isn't that good..he's replaceable

We don't know how things will continue in GR, who is ready and who is not for NHL. Someone from that group could be playing at the end of the season for Detroit. If Detroit decide to tank, we see opportunity for youngsters. MBN should not be ahead of some of those guys .Question is when for Lombardi.
Danielson could well stay in the AHL or trade him to a club.
Danielson play well in the AHL right now?
I agree that is why I went with 3 total. I was thinking more a top 9 distribution. Having multiple sub 6ft guys on a line usually doesn't work well long term, especially in the playoffs. Ray's a stockier build so you could probably do it on his line, but the others play more like DBC. Ray line 1 and then two of the 4 fighting out for spots on lines 2 and 3.Maybe we can move away from the standard "bottom 6 players must be talentless hacks" way of operating. With Larks, Kasper, and Danielson we have capable centers to allow smaller to average sized skill guys to operate.
I doubt.
Lombardi more talent than your player.

Husso's contract ends after this season and Petry ain't going anywhere, NMC. Lyon, Motte, Fischer and Kane, if he wants will be most likely only tradeable players.Husso waived...unclaimed..GR starter
Wait out Copp, Tank and Husso contracts
Standart procedure.Idk why people keep expecting ASP in GR (Ken Daniels included). It’s not gonna happen, he’s too good
2 MORE years?! Leading up to the draft scouts were questioning if his offense would translate to the NHL, that's why he dropped. It's pretty clear it has not.Probably he has two years to prove scoring strength.
Veleno has been mostly useless throughout his time wearing the Winged Wheel...I remember have a hearty guffaw a few years ago when seeing people gush how Joe 'Swoleno' was getting buff in the gym during an off season...lol what a waste of time - dude is softer than butter on the Ariz highway in August...If there's anyone in need of watching the 'Grind Line' VHS tapes it's this guy.Lolol you think the almost 25 year old pacing for LESS THAN 8 POINTS on a full season in his 5th year, having never hit 30 points, has untapped offensive potential? Are you spewing hot takes in here for funsies? Veleno is a black hole defensively. He creates no chances for himself or his linemates. There is nothing you can point to, a la Kasper and Berggren, that suggests he has more in the tank. He got 14 minutes a night last year while being on the 2nd PP unit and couldn’t break 30 points. His chance to prove he could at least repeat last years production is now, this season, and it’s looking like he won’t even hit double digit points. His time is up. He’s such a vanilla NHL player that I’m surprised the nickname “Vanillo” hasn’t taken off yet.
Trade Veleno
Trade Kane(wherever he wants to go)
Trade Wallinder
Place Gustafsson on waivers.
Trade Lyon.
Just look at some of the suggested moves on this thread, just a friendly reminder:
Defenseman almost always return some value (unless your Walman), so despite the fact we think Holl, Chiarot, Gustafsson, Petry, etc. etc. are all absolute hot garbage and the worst thing to walk the earth (some of which I do believe that)... there is almost always some GM who is willing to add some depth to their blue line with the only real exceptions being cost prohibitive cap hit.
We live in a world where Leddy returned a lot of assets, Mattaa's one leg and pylon-level edge work got us a 3rd, where we could trade a very mid Nick Jensen for a 2nd, where we actually paid a pick for Jeff Petry, where Kindl got us a 6th (HA), and where Kyle Quincy was worth a 1st+...
I think these guys - and their relatively modest cap hits - might return some more value than you would think
You'd imagine Yzerman will be all over this.
Honestly ... grab Trouba and send anyone back. Time for a shake up. Could care less about his salary, reputation, anything. Team needs something.
