The missing top 6 forward we need?
Nevermind, apparently not true.

is that just $1.8 with lindholm on LTIR? that stuff is pretty confusing$8.3m
In a way yes.$8.3m
Personally, I would like to see him between Zacha and Pastrnak, but I can see Sacco potentially going with the lines they tried when the season started, Lindholm with Zacha and Pastrnak and Poitras with Frederic and Geekie. So I think we can assume that Poitras will be back up soon. Where you put him?

It seems Jim Montgomery has hacked DKH's account.Big fan of Carlo & Lindholm duo
Carlo one of most underrated players in hockey
I would never take a third line forward for Carlo, if that is being offered, he is safe to stay in Boston, and as far as a second line forward, he best be close to a first line player than a third line player.Or Carlo. Wotherspoon might get you a mid round pick or the forward equivalent of him, a physical, steady 4th line forward.
Carlo should get you a second or third line forward.

He’s clearly not perfect but solid 2RD and goes well with HampusI would never take a third line forward for Carlo, if that is being offered, he is safe to stay in Boston, and as far as a second line forward, he best be close to a first line player than a third line player.

Carlo is not a offensive defenseman, but he is a solid player, who I agree has struggled this year much like the rest of the team, Carlo and Hampus take a lot of unnecessary criticism. I will guarantee you put them up for auction, you and I will not be but many on this board will be surprised at the interest and action that they will receive. He’s clearly not perfect but solid 2RD and goes well with Hampus
It has been strange. Pastrnak and Marchand lead the league in penalties drawn. It's unusual to have two guys from the same team at the top so that surely helps. Kastelic is 20th in the league, and McAvoy is 29th. That's four guys in the top30.one thing that has been curious - this team still leads the NHL in PP opportunities. for a team that we probably consider very
low on the skill quotient (especially compared to the rest of the league), any idea why that's happening? kind of a strange
combination.
Yeah, I've been thinking about this a lot lately because I was tinkering with lineups for next year and with Zacha, Lindholm, Coyle down the middle, and Poitras' future at center, you've got a logjam. So I think we can assume that Poitras will be back up soon. Where you put him?

#freepoitrasGoals in three straight. 7 points in his last 4.

You could deal Coyle, but he plays hard minutes, heavy defensive minutes, who fills that role. I wouldn't want to put that on Poitras. Would you bury Lindholm in that role? He's not scoring but I think they're still hoping that changes. Move Zacha to wing? I like Zacha at center. I guess I would do that for a real #1 center, like Zibanejad, but not for a 21 year old Poitras who still looks very slight by NHL standards. In the off-season I'd be willing to pull the trade Coyle thread, but I'd be nervous to do it mid-season when we're clinging to the 2nd wild card spot.
Right wing? Brazeau is doing well on the 2nd line. Kastelic has given the 3rd line some life. Left wing? I guess you could try him in Geekie's spot. I think that line benefits from having a 'heavy' guy on their left but it's worth a look. You could also trade Frederic and slot him on on 3rd line LW.
Could you just plug Poitras in between Beecher and Koepke? It doesn’t have to be a traditional 4th. Koepke has some skill. Beecher has speed and untapped offensive potential. Poitras could make them a more dangerous line in limited minutes.I think Geekie and Kastelic are the only guys you can push to the fourth line. And with Geekie just starting to find his game, that’s tough. But it’s also tough to push Kastelic down because the third line is starting to find it. Nothing will happen (barring injury) until after the road trip I would guess. So maybe reevaluate where everyone is at then. I do think that Poitras at LW is just as viable as RW. He ends up over there half the time anyway. I don’t mind Zacha at LW, btw, he was at LW on one of the best regular season teams of all time.
