A dumpster fire that can recall a 32 year old veteran of 360 regular season games, and 59 playoff games? A player that's eats up around 11-12 minutes a night? A player that wins close to 50% of his face-offs? A player that's mostly played on the 4th line and has scored over 70+ points?

I'll take that, thanks.

Of course you would

No Nuke or LOC definitely doesn´t help. Still the depth is not there as usual and it will show again in the playoffs.
I know a lot of things out of their control has happened, Landeskog and Nichushkin in particular, but that’s still a sorry looking lineup. I’m truly baffled that CMac has stood so idly as this lineup looks like this.

If you would’ve told me that 1.5 years after winning the Stanley cup that our lines would look like this, I would’ve laughed in your face.

Absolutely pathetic.

They’re missing Nuke and LOC, and Landy wasn’t expected to miss this much time. I complain as much as anyone, but ignoring context doesn’t really help your point

He just hasn´t been a good GM so far, mediocre at best. It did take Sakic time to get his act together, however the situation was completely different. CMac had to go for it as soon as he was hired and so far has failed to make that happen.

I truly think last years deadline was felt in the locker room. You have to think the core guys were let down when they say Lars Eller was their big addition. CMac can’t afford to waste another year, or the doubters are going to get really loud.

So no Rantanen at center, where did that even come from lol

God, that's a sad lineup. Our second line is a third line, and our third and fourth lines should be combined to make a pretty good fourth line -- and the excess from that combination shouldn't be on the team.

I have grilled CMac as much as anyone, but he can't control injuries and PA programs.

For example, if the Oilers lost Hyman, Nugent-Hopkins, and McLeod, this would be their lineup today:

Kane - McDavid - Foegele
Holloway - Draisaitl - Perry
Janmark - Ryan - Brown
Erne - Hamblin - Gagner

Not exactly scaring anyone even with 97 and 29.

You take 3 top nine forwards away from any team and shit will look bleak AF.
