Clifton did a fine job filling in - 1st quarter of the season
Maybe low drive for another cup ? And just wants to retire a BH...
Blackhawks have no power due to full NTC. Correct?
yes. He has a full nmc so he calls the shots.

They can want the moon but it doesn't mean their going to get it. I don't see anyone paying their asking price but cant blame them for starting high, but it doesn't mean he wont be moved for less. The problem is ARZ wants the moon for him. Last I saw they wanted two 1st round picks + a prospect or young roster player. That's big ask for a guy that's racking up injuries and a UFA in two years.
2022-2023
Missed 16 games (wrist injury)
2021-2022
Missed 24 games (ankle injury)
Missed 11 games (upper body injury)
2019-2020
Missed 7 games (hip injury)
2018-2019
Missed 4 games (upper body injury)
Missed 2 games (upper body injury)
2017-2018
Missed 2 games (lower body injury)
Missed 28 games (knee injury)
Don't get me wrong the kids is a very very good player, but that's a steep price to pay.
Hope not.............he is not what they need..I heard Kane to Boston is virtually a done deal, but the 2 sides are just finalizing some details (namely who covers cab fare).
Did we REALLY expect McAvoy to be a McAvoy?
I have 2 more important questions. Does he hit? Does he use his size well? (Lohrei)Some did. Most didn't.
Consider only 3 defensemen were picked before McAvoy in his draft.
13 were picked before Lorhei in his. Never know, but the odds seem against him being another Charlie.
Hell I'd take a # 3-4 defenseman and him becoming a fixture on the blueline for the next 8-10 years. Some did. Most didn't.

If Hall can drive himself to Boston from Buffalo I can't see why Kane can't from Chicago.I heard Kane to Boston is virtually a done deal, but the 2 sides are just finalizing some details (namely who covers cab fare).
Why ? so he can have his hip surgery done in Boston ?If Hall can drive himself to Boston from Buffalo I can't see why Kane can't from Chicago.
Ronaldo was worse.Worst was when Chiarelli gave away two second rounders for Brett Connolly to try to make the playoffs and save his job and in literally his first practice with the team he breaks his hand and misses like 4 weeks.

Can't even skate.Ronaldo was worse.

I suppose but I`m one who subscribes to the notion that those teams who make the most noise at the deadlines are more often than not, playing golf without having celebrated a cup win
I feel teams who make the quiet, subtle changes to add some depth do themselves more of a favor
I`d like a Gavrikov and Barbashev addition
Those two would be awesome all though I wouldn't call them quiet a subtle, although they would be filling the depth needed in Boston. subtle might not have been the right word but they aren`t superstars, just solid NHL`ers and the exact kind of moves I think that helps teams win more so than the big splash guyThose two would be awesome all though I wouldn't call them quiet a subtle, although they would be filling the depth needed in Boston. They won't come cheap and they'll be plenty of bidders for their services. I'd be happy with either one of them but I don't feel either of their price tags will be cheap.
Glad I'm no longer on the lets trade for Kassian for a 4th line role wagon again...
Yikes. This season with the Coyotes...
33 games, 1 goal 0 assists -11 and only 28 hits. Less than a hit per game which is crazy.
Tanner Jeannot is 100% a player I'd kick tires on if I'm Sweeney. Young, can score, hits everything that moves - He's having a down season in comparison to last year, too.
