You must have missed the earlier conversation about all the Tony D fanboys. Psst...I'm one, too.)

Oooohhh haha, I never seen that.

FWIW, I wasn't a fan him being the add in the trade, and I'm not drawn to him as a person, but he made a believer out of me on the ice. Kid's got the poise of a 35-year old HOF-bound veteran.

Thank you. I think metrics are useful, but I’m still having a tough time understanding and applying them. I’m basically a moron when it comes to advanced stats.
You're not a moron, it's just new.

A moron gets bitter about their existence and actively seeks out and crucifies players who are good at advanced stats. Like AV lol.

I frankly have a hard time fully understanding most of the new metrics, but, I think they're very helpful in that they enhance what we're looking at. You're not going to get me to be the one to post a graph, but, I'll pay heed to what it says.

Nah I don’t hate the kid I actually like him a lot. He’ll be a solid bottom 6 guy that will step Up in big moments. I know it. Just a horrible choice at 7th overall considering he’s got cinder blocks for feet. If it weren’t for Chytil looking like a friggen unicorn on steroids the microscope on Lias would be much bigger.

This post would appear to be the post of a fanboy.
Wow, just a bit defensive. Must have had a nerve touched.
As I have already stated, I am happy that ADA is developing into a player many thought he could be when he was drafted. Where I am having a disconnect is when he became a top level D? He gets sheltered minutes and has a limited sample size. What's also perplexing is, it seems, that the ADA hyperbolists also have nothing good to say about Pionk. Pionk, like ADA, isn't a finished product. But, there are plenty of things to like.
When it is pointed out that Quinn seems to believe in Pionk, the ADA contingent gets defensive and, with their responses, insinuate that they know more than Quinn. That is simply ridiculous.

Blew by Lias last year. @Edge told the board he was coming strong and sure enough he rear viewed Lias before Traverse City ended.

Your top 10 forwards next year.

Panarin
Zibanejad
Chytil
Kreider
Kravstov
Buchnevich
Howden
Vesey
Fast
Namestnikov
Plus prob whichever kid we get in the Hayes trade make it 11.

WHO WANTS TO WALK BY LIAS?

Thats a pretty exciting forward lineup. Too bad we can't fast forward some of our exciting d prospects like Miller, Hajak and Lundkvist to give Hank a true chance at winning a cup next year.

Best record in the league over the last 10 games: Rangers at 8-1-1
Worst record in the league over the last 10 games: Pittsburgh at 1-7-2
The Kings are enough I don't want Pitt anywhere near the bottom 5-10 teams and winning the lottery

I’m hoping hajek is ready to produce next season for sure. Miller is the guy that could be special for sure.

That's a lot of 'for sures' -

Perhaps Hajek is the 'special one' -

Howden is proof that this line-slotting business can be a hard fail. He looks special.

Huh? Over the last 8 games he is averaging about 20 minutes a night, he is not getting anything close to sheltered minutes or "favored" lineups. Maybe people get defensive when you spew out BS?

This is crystal ball-accurate and really, really exciting.

Lol he was scoring near ppg pace in the ahl a few weeks ago and your writing him off as a bottom six player?
Ridiculous
