I’m happy the avs are all in. I prefer d but Brock will definitely help this team get to where they want to be. The price was steep but that was the market… package whatever for a d man

The icing on the cake today would be if we could get Alex Tuch for a package built around Ross Colton, Oskar Olausson + a pick

Well, no cake for you.

Ross Colton has a full NTC this season and there's probably a less than 1% chance he would waive to go to Buffalo.

I'm afraid to type this.

I have three jerseys. Duchene, Rantanen and Makar.

First is a Star, second will be a Star in a few hours..

What should I do with my Makar jersey?!

Nothing, the first is a Duchess baby who wins about as much as Taylor Hall. The second chased the bag, and falls down a lot.

Just make better jersey choices. The Avs aren’t cursed because of your poor choices. Go take a shower and remember that.

Avs are improving but you're under selling the competition who have held the fort at the top of the division all season long.
We may not have time to catch Dallas in the standings, but we will absolutely pass the Wild in the standings.

We will not be wild card.

It really is all irrelevant anyway, once you get to the playoffs, it's a whole new season and anyones game.

I'm told a deal for Rantanen to the Leafs is done. But it's contingent on Jennifer Lawrence accepting one of my 500 marriage proposals I've sent her on social media. No marriage no trade.

What makes sense for Nelson is one of those cheating back diving contracts. Give him 6 years. Almost all the money is bonuses in the first 3 years. Then he can go home to the state of mediocre hockey when he's 36 and wants to retire as a 3 time cup champ.

Like 3 millions salary a year for 8 years. And a 5 millions bonus the first 3 years. Is that allowed?

Interesting little tidbit:

The Leafs are already in Denver and the Avs have been kind enough to make a war room available at Ball Arena for the staff they have there today.

Bug the shit out of that room lol
Toronto Maple Leafs send a conditional* 2025 4th round pick to Colorado in exchange for using their office and lockerroom facilities.

* The pick drops to a 5th rounder if there is no hot water in the showers.

If I'm Dallas, and I know Mikko is interested in coming to my team as a UFA, I don't give up the pieces for him today. I wait, and keep what I have, and then make room before July 1st (Seguin, Dumba, etc.)
Yeah but then you can't lower his AAV with that 8th year.

Brandon Tanev would be fun. Could see him being the Trenin addition of this deadline if a bigger move doesn't happen today.

I want that three team trade with Mitts & Anaheim.

Tuch & then Gudas with the savings between Mitts and Tuch's money.

COL Tuch & Gudas (50%)

ANA Mitts & Draft pick

Buffalo Zegras (Because Zegras has term and can't run away from Buffalo any time soon.)

It makes sense, but it's a risk if they really want him. In the off-season, more teams will jump into the ring depending on how the playoffs panned out

Rantanen would be a moron to sign “upwards of $12M”
