The fan base attitude toward keeping depreciating players and not doing what's best for the team echos management to a T.

It's a good thing the fans who show up to the games are growing increasingly more unhinged because otherwise the bruins would do nothing.

It's time guys. It's been time. They have to blow it up. That is objectively a fact.

The way i look at players having to move in regards to trades. My dad was in the military when I grew up, if the govt told him he was needed somewhere else that was the end of it we moved. He was never offered a NTC or NMC and he knew the job when he signed up for it. On top of that he also wasn't paid in millions and we still had to move and get used to new schools or an area. I just think it's so overblown to feel bad a millionaire that plays a game for a living has to move from one great neighborhood to another. They will be alright I promise.

100% . This love affair or even obsession with a player has always mystified me . Having a favorite player of course but I’ll always put the betterment of the team first . Time for Marchand to net us some assets .

Personally the only player that would have destroyed me seeing them in another jersey is Bergeron.

I’m very thankful he was one of those rare players that plays their whole career with one team.

This fan base can't handle 1yr of being a fringe playoff team. There is no way they'll handle blowing it up and going into a rebuild. Rebuild rarely work and if they do they take 7+ years

You're going that route wether you sell your assets or not.

This isn't a situation where if we hold the fort we can turn it around next year.

They don't have the depth, they don't have the top talent. This team is in no man's land. Years and years of bad drafting brought them to this point and it's time to pay the piper.

I'd rather aquire assets at this point.

Just my humble take.

This is why player’s negotiate NTC/NMC’s. Best scenario is that the Bruins deal Marchand to a team he likes for a haul and then re-signs here July 1st.
I agree.
I lived through the Espo trade.
Bobby leaving.
Bourque traded(?)
In the end it's business.

Love Marchy. But his skills are diminishing. The puck used to be stuck to his stick. Now he loses it even by changing directions. Maybe he's trying to hard. He's slower.
Heard someone say he wants to play till he's 40. I don't see that happening here.

No you're not. There is a massive difference between a re-tool and blowing it up and rebuilding. If we're blowing it up then you're trading everyone including Pastrnak.
