I’ll go lookup Zach Senyshyn’s pre draft report. Hold my beer…

If I recall Senyshyn had a major red flag even at the draft in that he only had one weapon. Being faster than opponents and driving the net to score many of his goals the same way.

Bruins clearly expected a Kreider clone rather than being concerned at the lack of weapons already present at the lower levels let alone advancing to the NHL.

This new prospect already sounds more promising.

Oh I agree. But he floats a lot. No direction with this team. I don’t even think they know at this point what the hell they’re doing. But tying up cap is just something I’m not on board for. Hope he fits well for us. But only time will tell.

I'm guessing that if the Bruins were going to extend Marchand by the deadline we would have heard that by now. I will wager that they are waiting for a few teams to say "best offer" before deciding where he goes.

LA has been quiet. Carolina is doing God knows what. NJ should have some $ to spend with Hughes going down. The Florida teams always have one last move in them.

We'll see, maybe it's a long shot that he gets traded but it won't surprise me if he is.

Part of me fears Florida being the team to pursue Marchand. Very few teams would I cheer against Marchand on.

Add Marchand for a 1st and prospect and this is the best Bruins deadline since at least Chiarelli peak years.

The only defense i give for getting Middlestadt is there are very few decent centers UFA this off season, best would be Bennett, who i would love to see in Boston. This should give them the opportunity to go after Boeser or another scoring winger in free agency with Rantanen off the board.

Right, he basically is a lazy Coyle. He may play well for a few games motivated to play for a new team, maybe it sticks with him, but let’s see where he is at in a year
