Going goal per game at SStM is basically what it takes to get drafted, but following that up with a goal per game in the USHL is something else entirely.

Kind of wish he stuck with BU now (picked BU initially but switched to UND). Woulda been nice to see him play regularly.

No but they will come in free from the malaise that has been hanging over the team. It will be some fresh air. Probably won't win more games than they otherwise would have but these guys will be looking to make a good first impression (again, in the case of Lauko) versus waiting for the season to be mercifully over.

Yeah, he's riding this season out and whatever happens, happens. I don't see these moves as an attempt to get into the playoffs. If nothing more happens today, I still expect some changes in the summer. We now have a draft to look forward to for the first time in a while.

I'm guessing that if the Bruins were going to extend Marchand by the deadline we would have heard that by now. I will wager that they are waiting for a few teams to say "best offer" before deciding where he goes.

LA has been quiet. Carolina is doing God knows what. NJ should have some $ to spend with Hughes going down. The Florida teams always have one last move in them.

We'll see, maybe it's a long shot that he gets traded but it won't surprise me if he is.

Nah, I have no problem with people wanting sweeney gone. It's probably time.

I have a problem with people complaining about the 3 deals he's made just because they're mad at him.

Middlestadt is a dumb pickup. Sweeney is already eating into cap space on a clone. I like the rest, I don’t like this pickup that has term having a down year at over 6mil. They are already dealing with Lindholm as 7mil having a bad year. He again is hoping for a bounce back player.
