So what are we looking at for returns on Coyle and Carlo?

Personally I want young NHL talent more than picks. To me picks are like scratch tickets and if you're lucky you get an NHL player with a pick. I also don't have a lot of faith in this group drafting and developing players.

I mean Marchand can just say I don’t want a penny below what I make now and for 3 years. He literally can dictate the terms. If he was willing to take anything to stay a Bruin for life he would have signed already

So move him out as he is not worth his current Cap hit for another 3 years. You can see that the wear and tear on his body is beginning to show. The best move as far as I am concerned is get a trade done now.

He has been a great Bruin but they have to look at the business and see what makes sense.

I don't know if i would call it a failure. The two trades they made were clear wins, but at the same time i think i see where you're coming from.

It certainly feels like they should be doing more given the they're not making the playoffs, but then looking at their roster there's no one else they could realistically move outside of Marchand because teams generally don't like taking on term at the deadline.

I guess what I'm trying to say is i'm not quite sure how to feel. Basically just a "?" lol.

Clear wins ? Yea if you like role players. He has a chance to make some impactful moves in a sellers market, if he does nothing, cant see how you couldn't call it a failure.

The only things they had to do are Frederic, Brazeau, and Marchand.

I’m pretty happy with the returns for Frederic and Brazeau.

As for Marchand something has to give. Either extend him or trade him. You cannot risk losing him for nothing.

People lost their collective poop when Louis Eriksson walked. Marchand can play top six minutes, stir things up, play PP and kill penalties. I think he would've signed an extension by now. Get value. Team stinks as does our prospect pool.
