They are close enough to a playoff spot so he got NHL ready players for Braz to help this team now. I just don’t believe Marchand or any other guy like Coyle will be traded. I just don’t see him fully committing to a sell as close as they are.

I agree 100% he will stand his path and i really think it s bad really bad management with the state of this team from the nhlers to ahler to prospects pool etc...scared for 5 years of dip darkness!

That central division is going to be a war come playoff time god damn.

Dallas: Ceci, Granlund, Rantanen
Winnipeg: Schenn, Brandon Tanev
Colorado: Nelson

As someone who still dabbles in the NHL games...that Dallas team is going to be f***ing fun to take a spin with. They were already fun with all the speed between Hintz, Duchene, Stankoven and Johnston. But with Rants on board? Hoo baby.

Probably can't play Boston anymore because what little depth they had (EA sucks at ratings) is now gone lmao.
 
There will be a lot of moves in the next 2 hours, we'll see what happens with Boston.

I really, REALLY hope they go further with the remake than just dealing Frederic and Brazeau. There are another 2-4 trades to make today to jump start a badly needed new look.

Even if you bring back Lindholm and McAvoy, they are a long ways from being a top team. We also can't count on the salary cap god helping too much, not with international relations being what they are - things could change versus recent projections. Need to be careful assuming you can just sign several free agents this summer for a quick fix.

So... really hope Sweeney is active today. Lots of deals going down, there's no excuse to not be making trades.

This is fair to point out. Some of the guys people wanted to move have too much term to just be a do it and think about it later type deadline deal. Carlo in particular has 2 years left on his deal beyond this one. You don't usually see those type of moves at the deadline but in the offseason instead.
