im thinking once the Rantanen move happens it'll start a chain reaction and if he doesn't Im sure teams will have their own deadline on when to carry on.

Sounds like Rantanen is going to have to get his head out of the clouds on his contract demands before anything happens.

He might not be back until right before the playoffs, which could mean a more conditional-style return, but there was lots of noise around him on Thursday. There are a few different ways this could go. Extension talks hit a stalemate — with the reminder one call can change everything.”

If they’re going to trade a franchise legend against his wishes they better be getting something more than a “conditional style return”

I'd still like to land Boeser in deal if he's signing an extension. I don't think he's the 40G/70P player we saw last year. He's a fringe 30/30 guy to me. He's not afraid to shot, knows how to find the quiet areas and isn't afraid to go to the net. From reports he's also a great locker room guy.

Since Sweeney became GM Bruins rumors come from the other teams and other agents. It very rarely comes from the Bruins or Bruins player. Chiarelli was the guy who had the loose lips

These sources seem to contradict each other. One says 12 million is not close this says it is.
