Personally, I'd consider any offseason that involves signing Teoscar a fail. It would erode any faith I had in Breslow when you could have signed him last offseason for less money and without a QO. The outlook for him shouldn't have changed at all, which means the only thing that would have is their desperation and that's an awful sign for things to come.
$760 mil and 16 years
I’d imagine they planned for this.

Yeah I will hate it out of principle. It would make the lineup better but it’s a real bitter way to do itPersonally, I'd consider any offseason that involves signing Teoscar a fail. Unless you trade for Seiya he’s the best option so I don’t get this take. He’s better than Oneill and the OF sucks rn until Anthony arrives and he could very well be a bust
WAKE UP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!When I awake from this nap Juan Soto will have made his decision. Manifesting this
Crochet and Cease aren’t comparable pitchers (other than that they both pitched for the White Sox). Crochet’s market value is much higher, so don’t compare apples to oranges. Now that Soto is not happening, neither is Crochet. Mayer would be a dramatic overpay. Cease returned less value than a top 20 prospect.
If the Red Sox pay with prospects instead of pure dollars, I am going to be annoyed.
@Kate08 Blame the Church Lady ( Dana Carvey )I can’t even fathom the amount of money being thrown around here.
