Teams were lining up to pay a pitcher 35+ million last year that never threw a pitch in the MLB, so 51+ million is fine with me. There were five teams ready to pay over 700 million, so why not the Mets? He and Lindor for better or worse should make for some fun baseball.So Soto signed a bigger deal than Ohtani. Guess Mets fans should expect a 60/60 year with future pitching.
