Damn I would take one of williams/allen if released

Or Bosa/Mack too for that matter. But its more likely they are restructured than cut.

Smart move to keep a home grown pro bowl talent around. They don't grow on trees and we've let far too many of them leave for nothing in the past.

I am hopeful that Forbes has the 1st to 2nd year “bump” that a lot of players receive. Why? Better coaching (remember when Darrell Green laughed and said “I could fix him in 15min” - or something to that effect?), better trainers, maturity (Forbes in kinda young, isn’t he?), and spring/summer to learn the schemes.

Edit — yeah Forbes turned 23 exactly 2mo ago — he’s still a baby.
he doesn't look like he has the frame to put on much weight so that's the reason i don't see the team able to use him in many situations

hopefully i'm wrong

Williams has had lots of injuries -- if they cut him, he might have to take a short "prove it" contract with incentives to show he can get, and stay, healthy.

ETA: And... voila!

Mike Williams — he’d be an “ideal” add to their current group. Size and speed….and I repeat “SIZE”. His health is the problem, as had been said. A heavily incentivized deal would be optional. Happy to pay him 20m a year, IF his production merits it. But that’s a LOT of production to get 20m!

I dont think he’ll go for a prove it contract..he probably wants one last multi year deal to finish out his career

And eat a shit-load of cheeseburgers
Roid out and if not since its apparently frowned upon tape some sandbags inside his uniform. And then trade him when GMs think he has bulked up.

Looking at those legs. HOW could that scream “top 20 OA pick!!!”, to anyone?

Ron screwed himself 3x. Davis, Dotson, Forbes.

Should be 3 solid to great starters. Instead? Well, they ain’t any of that.

We’re going to have like an entire new defense, other than Allen and Payne.

It’s gonna be a real test for the coaches to see if we can get these guys to play together as a team

Hope he still has some gas in the tank. We sure need the upgrade.
He did last year. He’s also there as tone setter for the defense. Guy never takes a play off. Anywhere.

This is a big deal for them. Davis, Luvu, and now Wagner? Don’t they still have that other guy from Seattle? Who replaced Holcomb last year?

Linebacker room is mostly done. Save a rookie…

Now defensive backfield and offensive tackle!!

Had a feeling Wagner might come to DC. Nice.

Winning the offseason!
