Kelenic was a 3 WAR/162 player who was/is one of the younger regular starters in MLB and they basically gave him away to dump the contract of a starting pitcher who wasn’t even bad and is off to a great start this year.

Not a perfect player but that deal was terrible.

I was being over dramatic like some people on this board. Kirk is an excellent defensive catcher. It’s a little concerning with the bat right now, he’s capable of better.

He doesn't have the arm strenght to throw out a lot of runners. If the throw isnt pinpoint accurate, there's little chance he can get a runner out at 2nd.
