If you can disregard some users on this forum as he/she tends to go off-topic, i can see that HC should have the 2 games against U-sport on International ice so that some forwards and defensemen are more exposed if they are slow or not making the right play. This would have been easier for the coaches to identify. No I agree. Canada would be the clear favourite with all their players available.
I'm not passing judgement on the roster construction that much. I wouldn't have taken Heidt or Cristall either (especially the latter). I'm just evaluating the team as is. Their options were more limited this year - which is why I don't think they're the favourite.
I have former teammates in Skane (the Swedish region this game is being played in) to go see if they could watch the game an apparently they aren’t even letting people into the building, let alone broadcast crewsThey couldn't send a dude with an iphone to stream the game? lol
Nah. If he had responded, "I think Canada is better than you think and here is why:", that's a reasonable disagreement to prompt discussion and I welcome that, as that is the point of these boards. You guys just had a disagreement that's all, he's a good poster as are you.
Back to hockey, games start soon.
Yes. Would have been interesting and informative to see that.If you can disregard some users on this forum as he/she tends to go off-topic, i can see that HC should have the 2 games against U-sport on International ice so that some forwards and defensemen are more exposed if they are slow or not making the right play. What is the difference between what Wright makes in the AHL and NHL? (sincere question)Oh for sure but in Poitras' case you know they (the bruins) have told him their plan for him and he is comfortable knowing he will make some good coin in the future.
Looking at Wright's position only making AHL money and not getting to play for team Canada, I actually tend to agree its probably best to leave him in one place to play a bunch of games for once. Kids been getting jerked through too many leagues and not enough games. Plus he has already won gold there, not much to "learn" there that you cant learn in Coachella.
True, but it's always Canada taking it on the chin.regardless of country

- Arena 1, Olympic-sized ice pad (200 by 100 feet) with seating for 1,500 - sixteen mile sports complex. That is where they played usport games. that is European Size?
Thought it would be Cowan and he was place holding on L1So by the looks of it Rehkopf is the 13th guy. Bob Mckenzie was saying it on TSN.
I'd imagine the lines will be:
Geekie - Poitras - Savoie
Minten - Celebrini - Dumais
Cowan - Yager - Wood
Allard - Beck - Danielson
Rehkopf
Yes watched both and its the only arena with seating of 1500Are you certain both games were played on 100X200? Yes, that Olympic Size.
speed and create shutdown line with beck if they 4th line gels they can be dominant defensively and shutdown everyone’s top linesWhy is Allard on the team?

Update Bob Mackenzie said this is the lineup:Thought it would be Cowan and he was place holding on L1

I like the mix of skill and bang.
His base salary in the NHL is $855,000 and his salary in the AHL is $82,500. So the difference is quite substantial. What is the difference between what Wright makes in the AHL and NHL? (sincere question)
