There is no way you have the OHL's leading scorer as your 13th forward. Rehkopf should be a regular. 31 goals in 31 games.
maybe he's just not as strong of a 5v5 option as the other players in the top 9 (especially on the bigger ice) and doesn't fit the shut down role for the 4th line?

  • Arena 1, Olympic-sized ice pad (200 by 100 feet) with seating for 1,500 - sixteen mile sports complex. That is where they played usport games. that is European size?
Olympic size is 60 meters by 30 meters, which comes to about 196'10" x 98'5."

The 5 on 5 lines are good. But I just don't get why Minten is playing on the powerplay over Dumais. If there is one area you would think he would excel at here, you would think it would be the powerplay.

Balancing the units maybe? They could envision Celebrini to be the main playmaker from the flanks on the 1st unit, Dumais taking that role on the 2nd.

Interesting Poitras and Cowan are the net front guys as neither is really big.

I'd have Dumais out there the full two minutes of each PP, and I don't get why Rehkopf is the 13th F. Better to take a skilled guy who can check rather than a pure checker. And he's crazy skilled.

Those are the two things I'd have done differently.

Can’t wait for the show but I believe playing USA now was the wrong choice. Back to back For us. Chemistry is still building and USA have more history reps thru youth programmmg. Better to sit In the weeds for now..

Makes me think they may use some pop plays where the net front man comes off the net and then can jam, go bumper or back door.

Poitras has the uncanny ability to pass or get right in front of the net. He's magic there. As a Bruins fan, he does a lot of work on the boards, but he has no fear in front of the net. I'm excited to see him do what he does best.

I agree with you. Maybe it's disruption level and dirty goals? We shall see. It may not stick.

Time to see what we have, the Denmark team likely wasn't much of an opponent so it's time to take on an actual test to the team, apparently the Swiss fans think their defense is really good this year even without bischel but that they don't have much confidence in their offense. A good game to start working out the kinks before getting an early shot at the U.S juggernaut to see where we really need to be better.
