if it came with an extension sure, but they cant afford itKakko + Sykora + 1st for Guntzel?
It totally is.Signing another 30 year old to a long term deal is pretty cringe
And thats whats scaring meWe can make a good run this year but that’s because the east is wide open.
I think it means that the Rangers have inquired and that talks have been ongoing. I dont' think it tell us a lot about how far the Rangers are willing to go (anyone saying they have an idea of what the Rangers would trade is making shit up)

Agreed. I'm fine with shipping off Kakko in a hockey trade, but I don't want to see him in the division. And certainly not for someone who's going to walk in 4 months.Kakko to Pittsburgh would bite us so fast. Crosby makes everyone a star.
People losing their shit when the Rangers haven't done a damn thing yet. Must have a crystal ball or something.
And if he becomes a star I will chirp on this board for the next 5 years with a told you so!Agreed. I'm fine with shipping off Kakko in a hockey trade, but I don't want to see him in the division. And certainly not for someone who's going to walk in 4 months.
No, because they are going to f***ing empty out their valuable long term assets for aging players again on the delusion that they are going to be able to fix their problems and win a Cup.
They'll have the same punchers chance they had yesterday.
Florida had all of the leverage, thanks to the full NMC, and used it.And Barry Trotz said that the trade market is way overpriced. Basically a 25-30 goal winger got traded for a 3rd.
Tarasenko forced his way with a NMC. This trade doesn’t set the market (much). And Barry Trotz said that the trade market is way overpriced. Basically a 25-30 goal winger got traded for a 3rd.
Mika and Kreids Googling " Pickleball Tourneys in April" as we speak?
" Don't be scared homie"And thats whats scaring me
I think Drury has shown that he's not going to be like GMs in the past.....most of his moves have been savvy and addressed our needs at the time -- except, of course, for the Kane fiasco (which I put squarely on Dolan's shoulders). I get the impression that Drury (like many of us) does not believe that we can win a cup with this group and I do not see him making any "all or nothing" moves. Wasting valuable assets for (and signing) aging players was pure Sather. No, because they are going to f***ing empty out their valuable long term assets for aging players again on the delusion that they are going to be able to fix their problems and win a Cup.

please dont trade BMB and dont be fulled by the power of full NMC and people picking their new home.Given the returns for Mantha and Tarasenko(I understand the NMC was in play on Vlad), Drury shouldnt have to move a 2nd for Wennberg if he is including a prospect like Robertson or BMB. Just my two cents. Maybe that's why the trade hasnt gone through yet?
I know no one wants to empty the prospect pool, but the fact is this team is a top team in the eyes of the front office, if you can add a guy like Guentzel as a put them over the top move i would not be surprised if they pull the trigger. Just keep Perreault out of any deal.
Kane last yearTarasenko forced his way with a NMC. This trade doesn’t set the market (much).
To be fair, it's the Rangers. It's Rangers Syndrome. We tend to overpay/come out on the losing end of pretty much every trade.
