If they took that package then probably. What scares me is giving a 30 year old 8 years X 9 million.

I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't gone deep into conversations on what it'd take to get Guenetzel but is he the "main" guy? Is Drury willing to swing big for it? I think it means that the Rangers have inquired and that talks have been ongoing. I dont' think it tell us a lot about how far the Rangers are willing to go (anyone saying they have an idea of what the Rangers would trade is making shit up)

Well I'm pretty sure other contenders would've gladly paid at least a second and some prospect for Tarasenko 50% retained. It's almost a given he said only Florida will do, because that's such a nothing price.

A 4th and a 3rd which could turn into two 3rds. Still pretty light with the retention.
