Nils was traded for picks. What happens to them after is not related to or reflective of the Nils trade in any way other than circumstance. Need to find long term solutions.
I wouldn't say I want to defend him, but this board is full of the our coach sucks, our GM sucks crowd. And the truth is that the evidence doesn't back it up, nor are any of that lot smart enough to identify why the correct answer is mediocre.
We are mediocre cause our team doesn't make the move for the long term solution. The team is too scared, whole F.O. or possibly Drury, to take a f***ing chance. I f***ing love Vegas. They make moves for players that can help and they have term or they sign them right away. I bet Wennberg is good for us. But I also bet we let him walk. We shouldn't.
If the Vegas office was running this team over the next 2 days, Lindgren and Goodrow would be traded. They are not good and the team shouldn't have time for not good. Not good doesn't win cups. Lockeroom be damned.
Not that the team shouldn't care about the players feelings or chemistry, but it shouldn't stop them from changing out bad players for good ones.
