This plus a market level contract extension is a bonkers amount for a minute muncher. Good on them though.
Does anyone know anything about Miromanov? I mean is that the big piece? I know they got a first and probably a 2nd but they couldn't grab Edstrom or Brisson? I guess the Flames need D now but still.
I mean it's a fair question but the pick it self had nothing to do with the Tarasenko trade.
It's also possible that they would have traded for him using other pieces. I don't think that it's fair to really lump the 2 together.

You add a PPG winger... who's already played well with Kreider and Zibanejad. If he can spark those guys into shape we're looking good.
I'd think some combination of Kakko, Othmann, Berard, Jones, our 1st Rounder etc... could get it done. The question is if it's worth it.
