  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I have it on good authority that Drury has ordered his 2nd pepperoni pizza of the day. He's gonna be burning the midnight pizza grease the next 24 hours.

They're the same guy and you can only have so many guys making $8M. Minute munchers are great for lots of teams but aren't as valuable for cup contenders.

I dunno, good minute munchers are kind of valuable for anyone. I mean just look at our defense. We've got a pair of dolts soaking top 4 minutes who are killing us.

If you want to say that it isn't necessary to pay THAT much for a D (with what we've already got in place here) then fine.

A good D (not even a great one) who can play in a top 4 role in place of Lindgren or Trouba would change the outlook for this team astronomically.

My dude, Drury turned Nils Lunqvist and a 2nd round pick into Gabe Perault and Alex Wennberg. GM-ing is a long game, and Drury won this one in a blowout.

It's not sunshine pumping...it's just reality. Drury has built a team from not in the playoffs (let's call that the Buch years), to one that's perennially in the playoffs, and currently one of the best teams in the league. He has done an objectively good job. It would seem pretty easy "to accept that and move on"...but every fan is different I guess.

Put Laf on the 1st line, move Brodzinski to the Panarin line to replace Panarin’s favorite trigger man, Colin Blackwell.

This gets repeated all the time and it isn't true.

Rangers selected Gabe with their own 1st.

The pick they sent to the Blues for Tarasenko was the one they got for Nils.
