To be fair I didn’t really hate what Drury did last year either. He took a swing for the little league fences. It was only when Kane forced his way here and we had to do salary cap shenanigans that it really screwed us over.

That's fair. I actually feel it was more on Gallant. Senko was cooking here before Kane's arrival and then saw like no ice time despite Kane being doodie. It was bat shit crazy.

Copp was pretty good for the Rangers. 18 point in 16 regular season games, 14 points in 20 playoff games as the Rangers went to the ECF. IIRC it only became a 1st round pick because they got that far and Copp was a part of that so...kinda how these things are "supposed" to work out
