  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Sure but why the condition at all? That makes the pick more valuable not less, no matter how unlikely.
yeah like others said, when the Rangers traded Lundkvist that was part of the deal they got back...if he did well with Dallas then the Rangers would get a better pick. When they traded that pick to Seattle the condition goes with it

You can condition the pick to come back if it’s the better pick, but looks like they didnt
 
This could end up being one of the better deadline pickups for the Rangers over the last few years. The posters who are upset about this were probably never going to be satisfied anyway.
I think Wennberg is a good pickup and everyone probably realizes that. It's just that they want the bigger move.

Like, I think you certianly have a point about not giving up too much at this trade deadline and arguably a point about a 2nd being a little rich for wennberg but caring about a garbage condition on the fourth round pick is digging a little too deep
