They’re losing their manager in Liverpool. If they think Boston is bad…lol. They already got a taste of it with their suer league. They’re small fish swimming with the Arabs over there.

The league rewards poverty franchises by giving them more competitive balance picks to deal

My question is when do we start getting them?

When did draft picks become tradable?

As a Brewer fan, this one stings. A lot.

There was no way we are gonna be able to keep him after this year, so I'm happy with the return. Sucks for 2024, but I'll be more than fine in 2025. Especially if Hall develops into a quality starter. If there's one thing Milwaukee does well, its developing pitching talent.

Ortiz might be useful with Adames potentially leaving too

If they don't move Adames, Ortiz will start at 3B. I think he's gonna be a stud. Hall turning into a consistent top-half rotation guy would be icing on the cake. Brewers got Ashby coming back from TJ surgery, and a bunch of good young arms coming up. Gonna be a tough year or 2, but they'll develop the next crop of starters (like they did with Woodruff, Burnes and Perralta) and reload in 2-3 years.

I like that they are a forward looking franchise, but just once, I'd like to see them shove all their chips in and go for it.

Worst case scenario for Hall is he’s new Hader imo. Definitely a good package for a guy the brewers had no intention of re-upping

I’ve never wanted a Boston team to be absolute trash before until now. I hope this team goes 0-162. How can you win 4 World Series and be the most hated man in town? 20 years ago we couldn’t fathom that. Henry sucks.

Can't say I've seen this before...

Yes - the beauty of giving the fans the middle finger is tickets going to be extremely cheap

all the special give aways should be touristy stuff - sea shell ash trays on Smoker Night; plastic lobsters, seagulls for coffee table.

Orioles dominate the top 100

They need to market the hair on these guys

Rutschman
Holliday
Henderson

The potential to turn Camden Yards into sell outs is right there

This must especially hurt for someone like Carrabis who has no life outside of the Red Sox.
Soon he won’t have Kowloon

Infuriating. Absolutely infuriating. But John Henry can't face Red Sox media at a press conference. Sam Kennedy lecturing fans and content in his role of being Henry's lapdog.

It's surprising MLB is ok with how this shady ownership operates intentionally not making the team better and driving down the value of the franchise, the league, and interest in baseball as a whole. If they won't sell the team I'd be ok with MLB stepping in to make sure they do.
