Can’t trade for them

This is a special WR draft

At 34 you take a cost controlled guy

This team is to far away from doing this

There are 15-20 WR and at 66 can probably get a starter caliber

Just me but I thinks it’s nuts to do this

Ron Wolfe would draft receivers in round 2 and nailed several his kid should do the same

To me non QB round 1 guys near the ball / round 2 are WR LB S RB
Agree with this, and I love Ayiuk.

It's the same reason you don't trade for someone like Fields given the fact that you have this season cheap, then it's 5th year option and new deal.

Keenan Allen is one of those guys who will be able to play for as long as he wants with his route running ability. Never been a supreme athlete, he just gets shit done.

With Hunter Renfrow now released we shall find out if the New England Patriots really have changed their ways

Yeah, Renfrow seems like a no brainer

Daniels concerns me due to his running style. The highlights I've seen show a North/South sort of running style where his straight line speed is incredible, but if he gets lined up by a DB he gets croaked. This seems to happen a lot. He's not really as shifty (IMO) as other running QBs I've seen. If he can stay durable, he might be something special, though.
The other thing that concerns me about Daniels is when you watch his highlights, a lot of his better down field throws are these high-arcing rainbows that get a lot of air under them and work really well in October in Baton Rouge, but maybe wouldn't work as well in December in Foxboro or Buffalo or East Rutherford.

He's got a stronger arm than someone like Jones or Zappe, but I'd still classify it as less than ideal. If you're the quarterback of the New England Patriots, you're probably gonna have to play 4-6 games/year in conditions where throwing the ball might be tough, and I'm just not convinced that Daniels has a big enough arm to throw a deep out in January in a snowy, windy Gillette Stadium.

Yeah, Renfrow seems like a no brainer
Pop Douglas > Hunter Renfrow.

Renfrow hasn't been good for two years.

If they can get him cheap? Sure take a flier I guess. But as shitty as Josh McDaniels was in Vegas, I think it's pretty damning he froze him out of the offense, when hes a player that was Taylor made for the Josh McDaniels offense.

Hunter Renfrow will have a quietly solid year and then they'll trade him for Zoltan Mesko to cut payroll and we'll really miss his contributions the following year.

Will probably come incredibly cheap, had some blown coverages but was mostly ok after re-joining the Pats. Seems to genuinely want to be here.
CB depth for most likely league minimum?/ with incentives?

He's not a bad player, but was never going to stick at 25 mil on the cap.

Despite playing only 8 games with the Patriots, he was targeted the 4th most times among NE DB's and gave up the most TD's. The pass rating when he was targeted was 107.8 which was the highest among NE DB's.

It's a bad look with all the other moves they've done. For all the talk of its a new day and no more penny pinching, all they've done is bring back cheap guys from a bad team. They haven't spent a dime on bringing in any impact players to address the talent gap

Could prove valuable in the DeVante Parker defence matchup package.

yeah again, he had blown coverages but iirc there weren’t lots of plays where he was getting absolutely dusted. They were miscommunication plays/mental errors that you would expect from a guy thrown into things midseason coming from a different system. He’d be a zero risk/medium reward signing

He was in a different system for a year and a half lol. He knew NE's system better than he knew LAC systems lol.

Yeah it’s still an adjustment for your brain to make immediately on the fly, it’s not like he had camp to get back into the flow of things. Especially when he was dealing with mental health issues on top of all that

Again, it would quite literally be a zero risk deal so idk what you’re complaining about. If he’s bad in camp he wouldn’t make the team

What talent has made it to UFA that theyve passed on? Honestly.

All of the rumored WR targets were tagged. They are ein on Ridley, the best WR in the market. I'm sure they'll go after Mike Williams since he was released.

They signed the exact type of RB they've been missing for years.

Re-signed Owenu who was the best guard on the market. Re-signed Henry who after Schultz didn't make it to UFA, was the best TE available.

They don't have a big need on the defensive side of the ball. Sure someone like Danielle Hunter would've been nice to pair with the rest of the front seven, but that's a luxury not a need.

Give me some legit names.
