Thoughts?

Hard to turn down Drake Maye if he's there at 3. If they do entertain a trade though.

Vikings i would want Jefferson or Addison involved in the trade. 11 + Next years first + Addison would be the minimum return to even consider it but i think O'Connell is a good coach and the chance of that future first being in the 20s is pretty good. Would a package of 11, 22 in the '25 draft and Jordan Addison really be worth passing on one of the top qbs? Don't think many say yes to that

I don't think the Raiders will be very good next year and they have a pretty tough schedule but trading down to 13 takes you out of the running for most of the top prospects. Fashanu and Bowers might be the only top guys still on the board, and Bowers doesn't make sense for the team to draft anymore. This team needs talent, and at important positions. Drafting the 2nd or 3rd best tackle prospect won't excite many.

I don’t think it would be hard to turn down Maye at all if their scouts aren’t as high on him as they are on others. You have to trust the folks you’re paying to be the experts. If they say he’s the same as other guys that will be there in round two, you pass. If they say he’s a can’t miss type of player, you take him.

You wouldn't trade Drake Maye for 5 first round picks in the next three years? Vikings and Raiders are not going to be very good.

I don't know. Maybe? If they move a top 3 pick and a shot at an impact player/franchise altering type of talent for just some mid round good players added over 3 seasons, I'd be pretty pissed off as a fan. Especially since it takes a year or two for some players to acclimate, so you're talking about 5 years down the road before those good players are even actually good. It's not like the Vikes giving the cowboys all those picks for a long in the tooth Herschel Walker. They give that team a stud at QB and then their picks get worse every year, while you see the other team getting better.

Think i said it a few weeks ago, Ridley is nice but because of the cap jump if he gets into the 20 million a year range, he's not that guy. 23 million aav is a lot of money for him, Patriots would have had to give him even more because of no income tax in Tennessee
