On a serious note here, I love the moves so far, but they need to be careful to not make too many changes and disrupt the chemistry of the team
I'm in the same boat, there is such a thing as making too many moves and changing too much. Having said that, I still want a goalie, a 6D and a 4C
Awesome moves and players brought in, so far:D

I knew I forgot someone

This pushes LOC even further down the food chain
I know people like Kovalenko around here, but I'd also be shocked if a guy comes over from the KHL and immediately steals a spot from one of Bednar's regulars. Kovalenko will either be a 4th liner or be in the pressbox...maybe some time on the third line if there are injuries.

CMAc called Montreal for Jake Evans, price was a 2nd rounder but I don't know if they retained (he's still signed next year at 1.7M). He's a real 4C.
I'd rather we never make another deal with that team ever again for the rest of time. I cannot stand so many of the people in that fanbase, and my life would be more joyous if I never had to interact with some of them ever again.

No matter what the results end up being, CMac got aggressive and did work. Props for that and I think that is all that can be really asked. Give your team a damn good shot to lift the Cup. If it fails, at least the effort was there. If it succeeds, none of the prices matter.

Very happy with the work done so far.
Yep. When you've got a great core, the worst feeling if you lose in the playoffs is the perpetual "what if" that will never go away if the GM just stood pat. Did you waste a season, could you have advanced had you been aggressive?

This might not work out but there won't be lingering questions about whether it might have worked out with an aggressive deadline.

Instead, if it fails we get to blame Georgiev and the referees.

If we sent down Kiviranta and Wagner - we'd still have 13 forwards & 7 D-Men and over $4M in cap space.

My main issue is that both he and Mitts are pass first guys, I don't want to see them out there playing hot potato back and forth.

that's fair, i mainly slotted him there cuz bednar seems to love leks with Mack more but lek can slide down and trade with drouin.

feels so good to have options now wow lol

I wonder if all this fwd depth isn't just insecurity about Landy's play when he gets back, but also if they're thinking Drouin could revert to his old self when the game (and rulebook) changes in the playoffs...

I feel like something has to give on the forward core. Whether it's for a goalie or depth D. There are too many guys. But maybe that's the approach.
