For sure. I'm glad the Avs are being aggressive this year because it's crazy to see how fast it turns around.

Yup…. Exactly why I hate any wasted year. They may not win the Cup this year, but I’ll be satisfied regardless with the front office as they clearly gave a very good effort.

Trading 3 top four defensmen and two top six forwards for two late 1sts, Sharangovich, several mediocre prospects, and a bunch of mid-round crap isn’t ”monster” work. No mention of the fact that they flat out traded a 1st a year ago to dump Monahan for future considerations either, of course.

Yeah there is a lot of quantity… but the quality is basically Sharangovich right now. They’ll have to draft very well to make this worth it
