We're out!

Is seravalli still living in a van down by the river??

He lost a ton of credibility that day when Kadri didn't even come close to signing with the NYR...and his house. He's a dink... He hasn't broken shit.

It makes metric ton of sense for the Avs to be in on Guentzel. I doubt they'd give up Ritchie for him but as Hench said, the 2024 first + Gulalayev would be a difficult package to match for anyone, if that's something that's going to be offered.

Like I said, you bring that guy in - you see how he fits and if it's a great fit, you sign him long-term for a deal that is around what Mikko is making now. Then you trade Rants for a huge haul because the Avs won't be able to afford him after next year anyhow.

I think toffoli’s going to be our guy. Will cost much less than Guentzel and not just depth, but a key contributor to a Cup.

On top of that I have a hard time seeing the Avs being out of it after being mentioned as the front runners just hours before. Just doesn't work like that. Also teams Savelli mentioned were reported being out of it hours ago. Did the teams that were out of it just decide to jump back into the bidding war all of a sudden?

Would love if we could add Guentzel but I'm pretty interested to see if we will land Dowd, have we been linked at all?

The fourth line and especially Helm and Cogs were so key to the last cup win. feels like Dowd could bring similar impact and experience this time around.

That's a sick plan but it makes sense.

Guentzel(50%) for 1st 24’ + Gulyayev + Meyers

Or

Buchnevich(50%) for this year and next at 2.9M for 1st 24’ + Ritchie + Behrens

Not sure which one I’d choose. Probably Guentzel in this case because we keep Ritchie.

Neither

If we want to really shore up a playoff push we still need a:
2G
3LD
4C in that order

Of course I’d love to make another big splash but honestly if they address a couple of those issues the deadline would be a success

#1 goaltender but of course all he needs to do is let in less than four goals a game on average.

CMac upping the aggression shows that they’re pretty confident in Nuke’s timeline as well since they would be going nowhere without him

I will put this here too:

So basically, it's not like they can count on Landy being in the playoffs and what level. One more forward trade wouldn't surprise me.
