Am I gonna have to buy Flo Hockey TV to see Boisvert, Hage, Connelly, and the NTDP kids?
Well I figured Connelly was out because of the Nazi stuff. And I didn’t see Boisvert being a riser and I didn’t expect we’d flirt with 90pts, thus possibly putting the likes of Skahan and Emery on the radar.Have to? You probably will anyways!
They picked his teammate Castagna with their first pick of the 3rd round. So they saw plenty of Letourneau last season. If they liked what they saw, they’re certain to continue seeing a lot of him this season. Costagna having a very good freshman season would be all the more reason to go back to the St Andrews well. It'll be hard for Letourneau to rise into the top 10 while playing at a prep school.
He'll be a a case where stat watchers are useless and real scouts are worth their weight in gold. That's where the Coyotes can use their advantage.
He’s very old for this class and he’s got mechanical issues with his skating and he’s quite blunder prone. These things could drop him enough to give us a shot. But probably not. If we can’t have him I hope he ends up in the eastern conference. He’s a menace.Getting my first look at Yakemchuk tonight. He looks legit. Off the board before we can draft him IMO.
Parekh kid getting some love. Anyone seen Jecho in Edmonton?
I think you call it hipster scouting did you see Wheeler’s list? Yakemchuk at 10.Does this guy use some “model” or something to make these lists? There’s a zero percent chance anyone who’s ranking these players based on games they’ve actually watched could have a list anything like this.
I’d advise you to block this person.
I love Yakemchuk haha. I’ll probably end up putting him like 8th or something.I think you call it hipster scouting did you see Wheeler’s list? Yakemchuk at 10.
There’s no moving up to 1st overall. Haha. Not when there’s a clear favorite at the top. Just doesn’t happen. 20 years ago something kinda sorta happened like it but it was a toss up draft and team needs played a role and it was a top three shuffle. We really do have an abundance of riches over the next 3 seasons. I'm torn between using a bunch of it to move to the 1st overall pick, or building a comically enormous amount of prospects. We get Celebrini, we no longer need to worry about quality center depth. At that point we can overpay a top defenseman in UFA to finish this rebuild off.
Cooley
Celebrini
Hayton/Geekie/Costagna
McBain

I'll take either of those guys...good call.NHL CSS gave 28 prospects an A rating.
6 of those 28 are D that are at least 6'2.
4 of those 6 big D play the right side.
I really want one of those 4 guys. Levshunov, Silayev, Jiricek, Yakemchuk. There's lots of variables at this early stage, but I think we'd have to trade up to get one of those guys.
