He shoots well, but he really shines as a playmaker. He's a creative and skilled passer. He's also very feisty and a good forechecker. If he has an elite trait, it's his smarts, but I'm not quite sure it's elite yet. It is very, very good though. His game is based on getting the puck, creating space for himself and creating a scoring chance. When he doesn't have the puck, he's always looking for the dead ice. Not a shy player at all.

If he has work to do it's on his play in his own zone.
I prefer Konsta to Catton so far for much of those reasons.

The few games of Catton I've caught this year have been pure controller disconnected.

I won't mind a Levshunov pick if the idea is to flip Newhook, Barron, future 1sts into a disgruntled star like Drai, Pettersson or even Barzal.

Catton is a very tricky customer, and he's a fair bit faster than Helenius. I lean Helenius right now but it's still in the air for me.

I guess it's time to start talking about Alex Blais, late bloomer he's now over 6'1 (elite prospect has him at 5'10 this is false) LW, very good vision, great wrister. Surprised the centrals have not picked him up yet, I have him in my top 120 at this point but he's going up fast with 1.5-ish PPG.

Is he ? His team site profile has him at 5ft10 , 152 .

Cam Robinson also mentioned on Twitter the other day to not be surprised if Lindstrom is the 2nd forward off the board in this years draft.

Eiserman's not showing enough outside his shooting game and there's the Russian factor for Demidov.

Nikita Artomonov has the pass on this between the leg goal from Atanasov.

1 point in his game back since his injury.

Its just a failure to recognize circumstances.

Suzuki IS thriving, hes just on a horrible team. His most common linemates are josh Anderson, Cole Caufield (incredibly snakebit.) And RHP.

His most common partner on D is Matheson, the other one is Kovacevic.

I think you are telling yourself stories. The facts don't support your assertions.
If everybody is snakebit around Suz, is he the issue? His lack of speed is certainly a part of it.

Hes playing with pied de celeries, more like it.

I'm talking about 5v5 here:

He is to a point, but when I see how Caufield is performing now, I quickly think how XYZ faster center would create more space for him than Suzuki does. Suzuki would be a perfect center for someone like Pasta or Panarin who create their own space vs. hiding in the jungle - Demidov looks like a good winger for Suz or even Eiserman.

This is why Dvorak is playing with Caufield now (but what Dvorak has in speed over Suzuki, he doesn't have in IQ). Hughes was the best C for Caufield because he creates a lot and his speed opens WIDE gaps. Celebrini would be immediately Caufield's center over Suzuki.

On the PP or 3v3 it's all good, lots of space.
