What type of players are celibrini and Demidov stylistically ?
Demidov has phenomenal skating/stickhandling combo, most of the times, he is toying with his opponents, but sometimes tries to do too much on his own and ends up losing pucks. He is a beauty to watch, but can be frustrating as well at times. Still, kid has elite skating/hands combo.

Celebrini is an ideal center, great skills level, motor and compete, cant really go wrong here.

Lindstrom strikes me as a roll of the dice pick in the teens if you've already secured the key pieces to the rebuild. He might be Chad Kilger.

Catton has IQ for days. Playmaking, shot, big game play at the Hlinka. If they passed on him for Lindstrom then they are fixated on size.
It's basically an IQ Test.
Re-do of Slafkovsky vs Cooley but with different names and nationality.

Catton definitely should be the pick if he’s on the board when we pick, we need this kind of talent but Lindstrom is not a teens pick, the kid will be picked top 5 or near, no doubt about it. A big scoring center who can pass the puck too? Yeah he won’t pass pick #5.

see Dach & Byfield. They wen’t #2 and #3.

I know, but if that’s the case im willing to wait. We need more big skilled player in that top 6.
You see you can say that now, but evidence has shown the Habs fans and many posters do not.

You have a lot of people saying Celebrini could end up a winger as well

Parekh and Helenius in the top 7 is quite ambitious. Both are talented though.

Haven't read the thread in a while.

I think we need one of Celebrini, Eiserman, Demidov or Lindstrom. I love Catton as well, I just think he ends up as a Suzuki-level forward, not a star.

On Lindstrom, he would be an amazing fit and probably the perfect C to move Suzuki to RW. He can have an impact similar to Dach, creating so much space for Caufield/Suzuki/Roy/Slaf and allowing them to reach their full offensive potential. At this point in his draft year, I prefer him over Dach back in 2019 and sky's the limit with his combination of skating/skill/size.

Caufield - Dach - Slaf
Roy - Lindstrom - Suzuki

Absolutely slaps.

At 7 there's a good chance my top guy is a defenceman. Sorry not sorry.

Jan Spunar putting up some good numbers in the WHL.

Was invited to the Habs rookie camp. Think they draft another goalie this upcoming draft ?

He's turning 20 in May, so I'm assuming he's still eligible for the draft.

Draft Saku's son. His u20 numbers are comparable to Slafs. Keeping pace with Hemming who is a projected first rounder. Eliteprospects updated Koivus height and weight to 5'11 and 165, he was listed at 5'8 125 or something earlier in the year.
