I'm on the Iginla bandwagon. I'm alone. Plenty of space.
You're definitely not alone.
Me and @Goldenhands like him too.

I think Demidov is very much in play….Russian factor is a thing.Catton plays bigger than Eiserman, though.
Like that should factor in, too. Size is irrelevant if it isn't part of your game.
Lindstrom won't be available beyond 5 - but Demidov is very much in play.
I'm finding him intriguing as well... depending on where we end up pickingI'm on the Iginla bandwagon. I'm alone. Plenty of space.
He's very much an option if we end up in the middle of the first round. TBH, you can make an argument for him at any point past #10.I'm on the Iginla bandwagon. I'm alone. Plenty of space.
If we can acquire either Dickinson or Catton, we should hold a street party. We should draft around 7-8th. Going by Bob McKenzie, be top talent available. Catton, Dickenson, Parekh, Helenius.
If we acquire another first? MBN, Ignila, Boisvert could still be on the board.
I want another 1st in the 12 to 20 range. I think there’s good value there this yearWe should draft around 7-8th. Going by Bob McKenzie, be top talent available. Catton, Dickenson, Parekh, Helenius.

If we aren't picking at 1 my choices at forward are Lindstrom, Demidov, Connelly or Iginla right now.I'm on the Iginla bandwagon. I'm alone. Plenty of space.

Going to be hard to pass on Dickinson despite our depth at left DIf we can acquire either Dickinson or Catton, we should hold a street party.
Poirier is small.I'm pretty surprised none of these players made Bob's list:
- Noel Fransen
- Justin Poirier
- Tuomas Suoniemi
- Yegor Graf
- Mac Swanson
- Jamiro Reber
- Alex Zetterberg
Poirier is small.
If he falls, grab him, Habs.
Cole Hutson would be sweet, but we don't have an early 2nd or late 1st.
Love the idea of gnabbing both guys with 2nd rounders.
If we select a D this year, after passing on Michkov last year. I may be disappointed. We need the high end offensive talent now. Our D pool is deep.
Just saying.
Nah, Im the driver. I have him right behind Catton.I'm on the Iginla bandwagon. I'm alone. Plenty of space.
Cole-Nick-SlafAgreed.
We cannot draft a defenseman without making a significant trade for a top offensive prospect/young NHL ready offensive forward using a defenseman already in our system.
The need for another offensive forward is just too great at this point.
The more defensemen that get drafted in the top 5 (assuming we pick outside of that range), the better the situation is for us having more forward options dropping.
Irony would be if he fell in the 20+ range and we opted to activate the Calgary pick this year and selected….Iginla lolHe's very much an option if we end up in the middle of the first round. TBH, you can make an argument for him at any point past #10.
The scouts Bob poles are probably dinosaurs. He is small but he can fire the puck. There's HM goalies that can't stop a puck in the USHL, so I'm surprised he's not there over them
If we do, we would be crazy.Going to be hard to pass on Dickinson despite our depth at left D
You had me at “Iginla”I'm on the Iginla bandwagon. I'm alone. Plenty of space.
Buy me a Parekh jersey, kid is insane!
Shift by shift through 2 periods where he played a ton, didnt touch the ice in the 3rd, probably some rest going to the CHL top prospects game since kids like Yakemchuk, Iginla didnt play at all sunday.
Overall, this kid is an elite puckmover, has elite skating, passing, puck poise and Ive been really impressed with his IQ. just a really smart player out there, his D game was quite fine and not a concern at all from this viewing. The hype when it comes to the Ds of this draft class is fully warranted.
Sick pass to Beck at the end of the video. His offensive instincts are high end.
Good question, he concedes size and reach to Dickenson, but I like his offensive skills better. It comes to what kind of profile you prefer at that point, who fits best in your system. I have to watch more from Buium, but I like both alot. Top 10 for sure.Where do you have him ranked on your list?
