I remember when they signed Khabibulin and Cullimore. The Hawks signed a bunch of free agents in 05 to compete and still managed to finish with the third worst record.

Aucoin, Barnaby, Lapointe, Curtis Brown... offered a pile of cash to Elias and Kariya that offseason.I remember when they signed Khabibulin and Cullimore.
Catton is my #2 behind Macklin.
Catton is a Saskatoon kid too, I'm sure Korchinski has known him for a while.
I got this monstrosity. Not sure how fifth overall ends up being a lotto pickEven after the Hawks crapped the bed against Tampa last night, the Bolts are only currently at a 35% chance of making the playoffs according to The Athletic's model.
And I ran the Tankathon mock draft once. Got Catton and Yak. Not bad.
You can only move up a maximum of ten spots.I got this monstrosity. Not sure how fifth overall ends up being a lotto pick

Dale Tallon admitted to the fact he didn’t fully understand what ‘the new NHL’ after the lock out would look like…I remember him bringing NHL officiating about 20-25 games in because his team wasn’t understanding all the new obstruction rules…Aucoin, Barnaby, Lapointe, Curtis Brown... offered a pile of cash to Elias and Kariya that offseason.
I remember the Hawks making a trade with Philadelphia that off-season that landed Chicago a future fan favorite.I remember when they signed Khabibulin and Cullimore.
They understood it just fine they just brought in a punch of pylons ill suited for the new style of play.Dale Tallon admitted to the fact he didn’t fully understand what ‘the new NHL’ after the lock out would look like…I remember him bringing NHL officiating about 20-25 games in because his team wasn’t understanding all the new obstruction rules…
If they move up this year, then they can’t move up but can still move down.Does anyone know what happens to the Hawks pick in 2025 if they win a top spot this year? Are they locked in or if a team jumps up from behind do they still move down?
It was like a 39 million dollar cap and they spent like a third of that on Aucoin and Khabibulin alone.I don't recall them being a cap team? I can't imagine they walked into the season with the ABC line as their first line and thought 'we got a contender here'
Going to be watching him tonight against Moore. It feels like a foregone conclusion that the Hawks are getting Celbrinni or Levshunov. Celbrinni at 1 or levshunov at 2 or 3 or 4.
I've liked what I seen from Lindstrom. If he can bring this level of play throughout the season and keep evolving his playmaking. I'd put him right behind Celebrini and Catton.Going to be watching him tonight against Moore.
I'm not convinced he ever gets that high. He's still a pretty inconsistent player. Tools are obviously next level though.
I've got it here in the Top 5.
Celebrini
Catton
Eiserman
Dickinson
Levshunov
I've watched a shit ton of junior hockey this year and this is where I'm at. I haven't seen enough of Demidov or Silayev to know what is going on with that.
