Parekh is more of the same IMO, we have Chabot, Sanderson & Chychrun & they are all PMD who struggle defensively. What Ottawa needs is a bigger, tougher mobile RD who can block shots, hit & move the puck out. I would take Levshunov RD or Yakemchuk RD over him since IMO they both fill more of a need. Parekh will likely end up putting up more pts, but because he is on the smallish size will likely also be hurt more & need to be defended more. Levshunov could be gone by the time Ott picks so hopefully they take Yakemchuk RD with their first pick & fill a big hole on defence for this team. And while Yakemchuk's defence is suspect it can be taught & he already has NHL size, strength, reach & mobility. Paired with Sanderson they could be our top pairing for the next decade. They may trade one of Chabot or Chychrun this off season, but I doubt they move both anytime soon.
