I need to start watching some prospects. Who are some mean physical forwards that can score? I think we need that badly.

MBN will go top 10-12, we will not be in a position to draft him unless we collapse. He's Kasper with more offense.

Listening Tony Ferrari got impression 2024 draft going to be weak.
Wonder if Edvinsson was drafted this year, he probably went second

God I hate this.

I don't mind when other teams do nepo picks. I wouldn't mind the Wings doing it if Kienan played like Iginla's kid.

The team won't pick anyone you want. I haven't paid much attention to prospects this year after the debacle the last draft.

I trust Stevie's ability to trade more than Draper's ability to draft. Just pick BPA, and let Stevie trade for whatever the team needs. Tradeable assets. That is what the team needs.

Doing a mock on HF mock draft for the Wings.

It's a 7-rounder.

Any info or recommendation is appreciated.

EDIT: Also, teams available for anyone if they want to dip their feat in.

EDIT 2: @Frk It.

Sounds fun, but I don’t want another fanbase coming after me with their BS

I see they have you picking 16th, I’ll be curious to see who is left at that slot.

Crazy to think we might actually be picking there, or thereabouts.

I’d say grab Hage or Miss if they are there in round 2, but I doubt they will.

Does anyone have any thoughts on Melvin Fernstrom? Seems to be ranked as a middle round guy. But has the profile of a guy I would be interested in…

Sounds like an electric offensive player. Very creative and a good skater with decent size. He is scoring very well. But I haven’t seen in game action and have only seen a few highlights. They are hard to find.

Hage, I like it.

Who's Miss?

EDIT: If you want to do the Mock for the Wings, it's all you. I think LA is left, I could take them.

Takeaways from Bob's ranking
-Yakemchuk/Buium/Jiricek at #12/13/14, if any of those 3 are available at our first pick, I am fine with taking them over a forward... (I randomly saw some of Buium's highlights at Denver recently, holy smokes that kid looks impressive.)
-Forwards I like in that 10-20 range - Connelly, Iginla, Greentree... and I like Ritchie at #21 too
-This ranking is good for the MBN supporters, he comes in at #20... I honestly thought he would be higher. If we end up picking him I will try to convince myself he is Timo Meier 2.0 (possibly the version prior to this year)

Really seems like there could be a very promising winger on the board where the Wings pick, whether that's MBN, Greentree, or someone else.

Yakemchuk would be my first call of those you mentioned followed by the forwards. I personally think we pass on Buium after taking ASP last year. I think he will be a better college player than a pro player at the end of the day. Greentree would be awesome but I think he is off of the board before we ultimately pick. Those two in Muskegon also warrant some consideration. I don't know what to make of Jiricek to be honest.
