The Hutson Hawk

I'd rather it remains into these confines. Don't feel like getting erased by the FSB.

Not even one year. In 6 months he will be free. With some people sure that would be an issue, but with Demidov I just don't see it. Plenty of players have survived similar unfair treatment, and Demidov seems like the type that it just adds to the chip on his shoulder and fuels that I'm going to prove you wrong motivation. And let's face it, it's one year, it takes longer then that to really destroy a person's love for the game, especially given the environment he'll be moving too next year when he comes to the Habs is going to be night and day. Say what you want about MSL but he's a guy who helps ignite a player's passion.
I'm the first to remind people that players are humans first and foremost and being in a crappy environment can have a big impact on them. But one year when you know that you are leaving isn't the same as a crappy environment where you don't really see a future or a path forward.
So could the media in Russia be inadvertently hurting Demidov by criticizing Roman Rotenborg?
He is the dictators buddy.Who is the Rotenberg guy ?
I mean he sounds like a 12 year old being put in charge of NATO. He sounds completely incompetent but he has been in powerful positions. Does his family own SKA ? He is a billionaire ?

Lose his love of the game, you serious?I'm more worried about Demidov losing his love for the game by the time he comes here.
Rotenberg: 'If I can't develop him, no one will!' *laughs maniacally*
I can’t see that at all. He knows he’s coming over in less than a year and he knows how high the anticipation is. Not to mention the probable big contract. I’m sure all of that will keep him going. If he lost his love of the game that easily, then he wasn’t the right pick at all.I'm more worried about Demidov losing his love for the game by the time he comes here.

My bold prediction is that Demidov will be a 40-50 goals scorer in the NHL. His shot release is insane at only 18 years old. Our PP will be as deadly as Tampa with him IMO, with Hage possibly also with a great shotNot at all.
Romanov don't really play in KHL and he never lose passion for hockey.
Demidov is always ready to play when he is on ice and he is always better than his previous shift.

I'm not worried about Demidov whatsoever like not even an ounce of worry . Rotenberg is creating a monster , I feel bad for our prospects at next years training camp

Like I said before , if there's one guy who you want with a massive chip on his shoulder its this young man....mamba mentality
yeah I'm not incredibly worried about Demidov learning how to squeeze every bit of value out of each second of TOI.
If his season is over I would assume he would be free to move on...If his team (SKA) doesn't make the playoffs, or gets eliminated early, is there any chance we see him in a Habs jersey at the tail end of the year? KHL season is over around March 20.
