They're saying that Norris has been shopped for a year with no takers. Teams are obviously scared of his injuries and his contract.

Pretty nice for the Sens to move on from a guy with his injury history.

The Sabres are so desperate for a roster player in return that they're willing to take the big risk.

The path for the Jets to get Cozens would have been if Ottawa was interested in futures as the Jets never had a roster player to trade Buffalo for him.

I think the Sabres are desperate for a guy who can play center with Tage Thompson, who is probably better suited to the wing, and Cozens wasn't that guy. Kulich shouldn't be that guy.

Buffalo has a good haul of forward prospects, be interesting to see how they sort them out going forward.

They used to close the main board to new threads and only had mods posting legit source rumours and confirmed trades…which helped

I'm concerned about the Stars even if they change nothing today. But if they land a big fish to improve their team.... ouch.

Rantanen hasn't happened yet. He will cost them roster player, or players. The net effect is likely small, or even negative. The high price probably means he doesn't move at all.

I'd be very surprised if we landed a true 2C at this point in time.

I doubt Buffalo even considers moving Cozens until the summer when the auction is open to all teams. Ditto for the Sens and Norris.

If I was an older depth type player on my way out, I’d make a deal with all the GMs to get traded to every team for the exact same price, like a 4th or 5th nothing substantial, so that I ended back on the team I started on…get into the TDL History books and Hall of Fame

But that kinda goes against the rumours he was looking at nelson and a 2 defencemen. So why would he just give up after nelson gets grabbed? He should 100% still be looking to fill the gaps we have at D.
