So a trade? More Blackhawks on waivers? Callup? Why would they play shorthanded? Maybe just punishment from getting waxed the night before?

Guy was playing 25 year old Division 3 two years ago. By all accounts, should be playing Beer League right now. Props to him for getting to this point.

He looked eager to hit but very rough around the edges when I saw him. He pasted Jiricek his first shift or so; that was great.
FWIW, Levshunov is tied with Guttman in AHL with 92 SOG. That's good for 19th spot. Only D ahead of him in the AHL is a 31 year old Dman. League high is 125 shots.

Common sense I would say no, to pair the two offensively inclined players who have rougher moments in their own end, with more defensively responsible stay at home guys like Del Mastro.
What's nice is that we have those guys already as well, who project to be nice NHL players.

That's one offensive dman and one defensive dman for each pair. I think Rockford is specifically grooming Del Mastro for the right side as well the whole year.
