I don't have a problem with that pairing. It's better than playing Brodie. I find it odd that Kaiser would practice as the 3rd pairing then get sent down.

One can only hope. It certainly does no favors for Del Mastro if he's paired with Brodie.

I was actually reading the lines, and thinking that this should be a pretty good roster.

You have NHL tweener vets like Anderson, AA, Guttman. AHL vets like Seney or Sanford. Young prospects likes Savoie and Slaggert.

On D it's two blue chip prospects, Del Mastro and some vets.

Are AHL rosters for others teams in general just stronger?

Other AHL teams are older and more experienced. Rockford is very very young.

It just makes sense. They played a ton together last year, so they know each others games.

Plus you can’t keep playing kids with Brodie, who tanks everyone he plays with.

Love seeing them paired together and really looking forward to being able to watch them tonight.

Not sure if I were Sorenson that I would have picked a game against the literal highest scoring team in the league to debut EDM and this pairing, but the schedule ahead is really tough so there aren't many better options anytime soon.

Hey. Sink or swim EDM! But I would say out of all the prospects up, he's the most overcooked one (107 AHL games for Del Mastro).

Has Guttman developed his game at all to have any future in the NHL even as a 4th liner with a little offense?

Until he gets a good run of games in the nhl he’s a tweener to the core. His size will always be a issue for him if left to the fourth line only

Landon Slaggert is definitely ready for a callup and extended NHL go at it. He looks really good down there.

Love to see that. I know a lot of people seem to be down in KK but every time I have watched Rockford he has been by far and away the best defenseman, and I like Lev. I feel like if he had just been in the WHL last year dominating and came to the AHL this year doing what he is doing people would be way higher on him than they are. Which is weird because he held his own as a teenage dman in the NHL last year.

I thought he looked good with the Hawks this season. Far better than last season. Just wasn't putting up points.

I feel like he should be able to make the roster fulltime next season.
