With limited skill and speed. I'm not seeing it
I've seen him play live. I would say that's highly false that he has limited skill. The guy has crazy soft hands. Speed also is in a big factor in his game. He does a lot of his work along the boards or in front of the net, but when he winds it up he can get going.

Haché had an assist in Barrie's 7-5 loss to Hamilton.
That's now 4 assists for him in his last 6. He has also posted a +11 in those six games.

A lot of NCAA conference hockey tournaments are getting underway this weekend. This is the link I use for watching a lot of college games. Basically all games are free now.

Dont get to watch many Charlotte games but can anyone tell me how Ludvig has looked this year.I see he has been playing on the top pair for a while with Carlson. Dont expect much scoring from him but always felt like he would be a good Gudas/esque Dman eventually if he could just stay healthy.

I haven't seen much of him, but he seems to be putting up the points lately.

Charlotte beat Utica 2-1 in OT last night, Denisenko with his 10th on the PP and Heponiemi with the GWG, also his 10th tally of the year.

Denisenko's clapper:

Heponiemi's winner:

Checkers are 6-3-1 in their last 10 and remained locked into that 3rd Atlantic spot with a 31-18-5 record.

With 2 primary helpers, Carlsson now has 10 goals and 19pts in his last 19 GP.
Not sure the reason he isn't called back up and given a second chance this year?

Charlotte will visit Springfield tonight.

Michigan beat Wisconsin 6-5 in overtime last night to take game one of the best two out of three Series in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament. Samoskevich had two goals, including the game tying goal with 15 seconds left.

Game two of the series will go tonight.

Third ranked in the nation Denver beat unranked Colorado College 2-1 last night. It is their final weekend series of NCHC play before playoffs. Benning had a goal in the game.

Sarnia beat London 6-1 last night. Vilmanis had a beautiful goal, as announcer said he had his dancing shoes on last night. That's now six points in his last seven games.

University of New Hampshire lost to Vermont on Thursday 3-2 in a one-game play-in to the Hockey East Tournament. Muszelik made 22 saves on the night. It seems like the last two or three weeks he took over the starting goalie position, as he outplayed the other goalie. A good end to the season for him.

Feels like Samo can fit into Reino’s spot on the PP with Chucky feeding him goals.

Yup he’s got a beautiful shot and he’s a really shifty skater. He reminds me of a Barzal lite with a way better shot. Not as good passing though obviously.

Samoskevich with a goal and an assist last night, as Michigan sweeps away Wisconsin to move on in the Big Ten Tournament.

That would mean season and collegiate career is now over for Lindmark on Wisconsin.
He played a special exemption 5 years of college hockey because of covid. Although I believe a year or two ago he was mainly injured and missed most of the season, which I believe might have hampered his production for the end of his collegiate career.
Because of that, I don't see him continuing with the Panthers organization.

Haché had an assist for the Barrie Colts. That's now 5 assists in his last 7 games.

North Bay posted their second straight shutout, as they put four on the board against the Niagara Icedogs. Arnsby scored as he batted the puck out of mid-air from his usual spot in front of the net.

That's goals in consecutive games now for Arnsby. Working the effective give and go, then following up his own rebound. You know what you're going to get with him.

Charlotte (33-20-5) with a massive 7-1 win vs lowly Bridgeport. The Checkers are stuck in a W-L-W-L-W loop as they're 5-4-1 in their past 10 but this was a key win to keep a lock on 3rd place.
Springfield, currently in 4th place is starting to pace them though.

Gudza had an extremely light night stopping 16/17 but improves to an impressive 14-7-4 record, sporting a 2.85 GAA and .900 sv%.

Denisenko had 2 assists, his 13th and 14th on the season, snapped a 3 game mini pointless streak.
10 goals, 24 pts in 42 games, still uncertain if he will ever amount to a consistent NHL player? It has taken Heponiemi a little while as well so there's still some hope.

Heponiemi scored his 11th, he has 4 goals and 17 pts in his last 17 games.
11 goals, 39 pts in 50 games.

Sourdif had a pair of assists, his 15th and 16th on the year. After posting 3 goals and 8 pts in 7 games post injury, he has just 4 assists in the last 11 games.
7 goals and 23 pts in 46 games.
Rookie ups and down but the potential is still there for a solid 3rd winger one day?

Can we keep talking about Carlsson?
He had a goal and an assist, he has 11 goals and 25 pts in his last 23 games.
He's currently on a 8 game point streak with 5 goals and 12 pts.
Currently 5th in AHL points among defensemen.

Charlotte will rematch Bridgeport tomorrow night for back to back games, both in Charlotte.

Samoskevich scored as Michigan beat Ohio State to advance to the Big Ten championship game. They will play top seeded Minnesota.

With Minnesota winning, that puts an end to Krygier's ('18, rd 7 #201) collegiate career. He really dialed up his offensive game this year, so I wouldn't be surprised to see an invite to Charlotte's Camp extended to him next season.
'23 - 37 gp 10 g 6 a Defenseman

Devine scored again tonight, as Denver finished off Miami Ohio in two straight. They will now Advance the NCHC semi-finals.

Haché also scored for Barrie, as they defeated Sudbury.
