No, the guy had Vermont Catamounts in his name or something like that.Heimy, no?
Also his Avatar picture was the Vermont logo, I believe Heimy didn't have an Avatar.
He kept us updated on Gildon back in his Vermont College days.

He has pretty decent size, and looks like he has some decent wheels, but I'd have to see a lot more of him to give an opinion on his offensive skills.
The Ekblad comparison is nice, and we can hope for another mid-to-late-round find(like Weegar), but I worry about a young player like that getting lost in the logjam of young defensemen we have in the system. We should only have 2-3 spots open in the next 2-4 years, and we are bound to lose a few "in the system" defensemen in the process.

I forgot to mention, his shot is probably his best asset. He plays the top point on the power play, much like Aaron does.
Of that list, I'd say Uens has passed a good third, maybe half of that list, due to his very good performance this season, as well as some other people's injuries or disappointing year so far.
Maybe hurt or something?I'm a little disappointed in the development of Gildon. He has an NHL body, but he doesn't seem to be playing much. Does anyonw know if he's been injured, or had a bout with Covid, possibly? He's only 22, but I have high hopes for him.
Is there any news at all on Ludvig? What's happened to him? I know he was injured at the beginning of the year, is that still the issue and what was the injury anyway?

Yesterday, the Panthers matinee game was on Sportsnet here in Canada. I tuned in just before 3, and they were showing misplays of the month.
On there was a video of the Charlotte Checkers trainer or equipment manager who is the team Hypeman. He lets the players body check him into the wall, or bend over and they slap his butt real hard with their stick.
It was hilarious! I need to find this video to share with everyone.
Checkers Lost 5-1 tonight.
OT with an assist on the goal.
Not sure, I didn't watch the game. From the boxscore where I can tell you that it was 5- 0 Providence before Charlotte scored their lone goal.Did the team just fall flat in front of Knight?
Think they have rematch against same team today.
I'm just checking the status closer. Knight got pulled, as he allowed four goals on 12 shots.Did the team just fall flat in front of Knight?

Charlotte plays Springfield tonight at 7. Springfield is the top team in the conference.
Just judging by the stats, I'd say 4 good games, 2 bad ones, and 1 so-so.So 5 good games and 2 bad ones in the AHL?
Doubtful he gets the start again today?
Uens had a good second.Tuned in for puck drop for the start of the second between Merrimack and University of New Hampshire.
Score is tied at 1.

His skating is very fluid. He has a Long Reach, which allows him to have a good stick check. Not afraid to throw the body with his big size. Also like always, he has a few shots that his teammates set up a lot. The thing I noticed, is at one point he pinched and deked around a bunch of players, trying to set up another teammate.
